The short version: all your data stays in your browser. We don't collect anything — no analytics, no tracking, no accounts. We have no server that receives your data.
Chrome saves these settings on your device:
This data stays in your browser on your device. We cannot access it.
We don't collect any data. No analytics, no tracking, nothing. There is no account, and nothing identifies you.
The extension is not entirely offline. It makes two kinds of outside request, neither of which carries personal information:
As with any web request, these services necessarily see your IP address in order to send a response. Neither is told what you blocked, what you visited, or who you are.
We show product recommendations using Amazon affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Amazon tracks clicks through their own system, under their own privacy policy. You never have to use these links.
If you have Chrome Sync enabled, Chrome may copy this extension's stored settings to every other device where you're signed into the same Google account.
That includes the list of sites you've blocked and the subreddits you've blocked, along with your streak timer and image preference. If you use Chrome on a shared, family or work computer under the same Google account, those lists can appear there too.
This copying is performed by Chrome itself, not by this extension. The data is handled by Google under Google's own privacy terms, and the developer never receives, sees or has access to it.
If you'd rather this didn't sync, you can turn off extension syncing in Chrome under Settings → You and Google → Sync and Google services → Manage what you sync, or use the extension in a Chrome profile that isn't signed in.
Use Clear All Data in Settings to delete everything, or simply uninstall the extension.
This extension may be installed on devices used by minors as a protective tool. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
For questions about this policy, use the extension's support page on the Chrome Web Store.
