The short version: this extension has no backend and sends nothing to us. Your settings live in Chrome's storage — which, if you use Chrome Sync, Chrome copies between your own signed-in devices. There is nothing else.
The extension stores the following in your browser, using Chrome's storage API:
None of this is ever sent to us. We have no server and no way to see it.
This extension stores its settings using Chrome's sync storage. If you have Chrome Sync enabled, Chrome copies that data to every other device where you're signed into the same Google account.
That includes your custom blocked-subreddit list. If you use Chrome on a shared, family or work computer under the same Google account, that list can appear there too.
The copying is done by Chrome, and the data is handled by Google under Google's own privacy terms — not by this extension, and not by us. If you'd rather it didn't sync, you can turn off extension syncing in Chrome under Settings → You and Google → Sync and Google services → Manage what you sync, or use a Chrome profile that isn't signed in.
There is no code, no logic and no infrastructure in this extension to:
These things don't happen because the extension has no ability to do them.
This extension does not use any third-party services or APIs.
These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality.
All data is stored using Chrome's built-in storage. There are no external servers of ours, no databases and no backend infrastructure — nothing is sent to us at any point. The only copy that leaves your device is the one Chrome makes to sync your settings between your own devices, as described above.
You can export your custom subreddit list at any time from the extension's manage page. This creates a JSON file you can save as a backup. The file is created locally and is not uploaded anywhere.
This extension may be installed on devices used by minors as a protective tool. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
